Today is arrival day back home! The cadets and staff are excited to be home. This morning the cadets were manning the rails as we arrived back in Vallejo, it’s crazy to think that we left a little over a month ago but it seems like it was forever. We are all in good spirits as we cross back under the Golden Gate. Once past the Gate we made good time back to campus. Everyone is happy to be back.

To the Class of 2021, I wish you all the best of luck on your next journey. Even though we may be parting ways there is a chance we will run into each other wherever the seas may take us. To the cadets and crew staying on for Second Cruise and the ones who are joining us, I look forward to sailing with you. For my shipmates I am glad to have been on the Bear with you all. I wish you all fair winds and following seas.
