General Grooming Guidlines

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hair

• Neat, clean, well-groomed, natural color
• Tapered from lower natural hairline upwards
• No longer than 4 inches & will not touch collar, ears, extend below eyebrows, or show under front edge of headgear
• Bulk of hair will not exceed 2 inches
• Braided hair is not authorized
• No Beard

Fingernails

Findernails shall not extend past the fingertip. They shall be kept clean. Buffed nails or clear coat nail polish is authorized. Colored nail polish is not authroized.

Jewelry

Shall be conservative and in good taste. Eccentric or faddish jewelry is not authorised.

Rings. Only one ringe per hand is authorized. Wedding/engagement ring sets are concidered as one ring. Rings are not permitted to be worn on the thumb.

Earrings. Not authorised while in uniform. No clear plugs.

Body Piercings. Not authorised in uniform. (Ex. Nose, tonge, lip, eyebrow, ect.)

Necklaces. Only one necklace may be worn, tucked inside the shirt.

Bracelets. Only one bracelet may be worn on the wrist opposite the watch. (No ankle bracelets)

Wristwatch. Only one watch may be worn on the wrist opposite a bracelet.
