Separation from University
The information below highlights behaviors that may result in a separation from the university, but the list is not exhaustive. Any violation can result in a suspension or expulsion depending on the factors and individual circumstances of the case.
- Any violation of the CSU Standards of Student Conduct or the Corps of Cadets Code of Conduct if the cadet is currently on University Probation
- Demerits in excess of semester (75), academic year (125), or tenure (350) limits
- Distributing alcohol and/or drugs to minors
- Driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol
- Falsifying University information
- Participating in or inciting others to participate in the violent disruption of any University activity
- Physical assault and/or abuse
- Possession or use of drugs classified as illegal by the federal government, such as heroin, cocaine, marijuana, or medications not prescribed to the individual
- Selling (or intent to sell), distributing, or manufacturing of controlled substances and/or illegal drugs
- Sexual misconduct
