Meet the Grants Administration Manager
Andrew Balmat
Andrew joined Cal Maritime in October 2022, assisting in the research and development of government and foundation grant proposals that support academics, capacity-building, sustainability, infrastructure, and scholarships. Andrew previously worked with the Student Conservation Association, Catholic Charities San Francisco, and Alzheimer’s Services of the East Bay. With over 20 years of nonprofit fundraising experience, Andrew has helped to develop programming that supports DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion), environmental conservation, homeless services, youth development, families living with HIV, and senior services.Quick Links
