INCLUSION CENTER OVERVIEW

Welcome to the Inclusion Center

Inclusion Center Entrance

At the Cal Poly Solano/Maritime Academy campus, the Inclusion Center serves as a vital hub supporting the development of principled maritime leaders. Rooted in the Academy’s commitment to leadership, character, and community, the Center provides a welcoming space where cadets from all backgrounds can connect, collaborate, and thrive.

More than just a physical space, the Inclusion Center fosters a strong sense of belonging and mutual respect—essential qualities for effective leadership at sea and beyond. It plays a key role in strengthening campus community bonds, promoting fair access to resources, and preparing cadets to lead in diverse, dynamic global environments.

In service to Cal Poly Solano’s mission, the Center equips future leaders with the interpersonal, cultural, and civic competencies needed to uphold integrity, foster teamwork, and navigate complexity in today’s maritime industry. By encouraging respectful engagement and shared understanding, the Inclusion Center advances the Academy’s vision of cultivating a forward-thinking and mission-driven learning environment.
