Summer 2017 Registration is closed.
Fall 2017 Registration
Incoming students have had the bulk of their courses added to their schedule. We are working with Academic Department Chairs for those students who have enrollment less than 12 units. Transfer credit and AP scores continue to be processed by the Admission Office and adjustments to schedules may continue.
Returning and Incoming students will have the opportunity to modify their class schedules in late August, right before school starts. Look here for specific dates later this summer.
First Day of Fall 2017 Classes - August 28, 2017
If you wish to add a course to your schedule once school starts, you will need a permission number. Permission numbers are a one time, course/section specific number that allows you to add to a course that has an open seat, or in which an instructor has agreed to exceed the normal course size. It is recommended that you contact the instructor via email. If you have not heard from the instructor prior to the first offering of the course, attend class and talk with the instructor to ascertain if room is available.
"Class" requisites are temporary requisites built on "class of", major, sub-plans, or a students' divisional assignments. These special requisites are placed on courses to hold seats for a particular group of students. Class requisites are placed/removed from particular courses and/or course sections on a schedule determined by the Department Chairs.
Waivers of Pre-Requisit/Co-Requisit forms for Fall may be submitted to the Office of the Registrar on August 28, 2017 – first day of instruction. You will also need a permission number from the course instructor. https://www.csum.edu/web/registrar/students
