Employee Recognition Awards
Cal Maritime believes that recognition is an important part of the total employee experience. The University's recognition programs provide visible and tangible acknowledgment of job performance, community involvement, and service to others with a significant contribution to a team and/or special project. The awards presented will include the Presidential Award, the President's Cabinet Award, the Presidential "Team Achievement" Award, the President's Cabinet "Team Achievement Award" and the Divisional Distinguished Colleague Awards.
Nominees should demonstrate an exemplary commitment to promoting Cal Maritime's values and furthering its priorities and goals. Performance should go above and beyond the individual's or team's job description to enhance programs and the University community. Nominating oneself is not permissible.
The Nomination Review Committee (members from each division) will evaluate all submissions and select the recipients based on criteria and information included in the nomination form. For the team award, it is the responsibility of the Nominator(s) to make sure all employees to be recognized are included in the nomination.
All award recipients will be honored at the All Hands Faculty and Staff Dinner and will be recognized in the Cal Maritime e-Newsletter and the Cal Maritime Magazine.
